OCEANIC ODYSEY is a multi-year artistic and cultural project spanning from 2024 to 2028. It is a collaborative effort between Latvia and the Pacific, focusing on the exploration of cultural heritage expressions. Through various activities such as exhibitions, workshops, residencies, educational programs, and collaborative projects, the project aims to deepen understanding and appreciation of the diverse cultures, traditions, and artistic practices found in these regions. Central to Oceanic Odyssey is a commitment to addressing environmental concerns, particularly ecology, through artistic expression and collaboration.
The vision of Oceanic Odyssey is to create a transformative and collaborative artistic and cultural project that explores and celebrates the rich heritage expressions of the Pacific, Oceanic, and Latvian regions. It aims to showcase the cultural diversity of small countries and inspire the world through their unique traditions and artistic practices. At its core, Oceanic Odyssey envisions a world where cultural diversity is celebrated, environmental concerns are addressed, and bridges are built between different regions and generations
Our foundation, EXPOART 5, is dedicated to the meticulous construction of cultural projects while providing vital financial support. Collaborating closely with other organizations and stakeholders, we demonstrate our commitment to fostering cultural enrichment and supporting the arts within our community. Through our Odyssey project, we aim to forge connections between Latvia and the Oceanic region, fostering mutual understanding and inspiring collaboration for a more interconnected world
